Albil Engineering manufacture presstools for several industies including Automotive, Building, Renewable Power & the Access Panel Industry, Albil supply both 1st Tier and 2nd tier and understand the tough requirements of these markets
We have the capability to manufacture and try-out tools upto 75 Tonne capacity. We manufacture single operation tooling such as Blanking, Forming, Piercing and Cam piercing.
Furthermore we also manufacture follow on tools Pierce & Blank, and also progression tooling for higher volume products.
We are able to accept CAD files in most formats, to enable accurate quoting and competitive pricing. While quoting Albil will wherever appropriate offer advice on design improvements, cost savings, on both tooling and production parts.
Should we receive an order all tool designs are generated using our CAD system this also allows for savings in time in the manufacturing process by enabling the CNC machines and Wire eroder to be programmed more efficiently because most of the information has already been generated at the design stage.
We will submit tool designs to a team meeting to ensure the tool design is approved by our customer prior to commencement of machining. Any changes will be listed and all changes will be signed off by a customer representative..
Albil will generate a Part Number file which will contain Component drawing, Tool drawing, Geometric Tolerances, Timing Programmes, Customer delivery requirements plus any other relevant information.
On Tool completion Albil will carryout pre production run and carry out a full inspection report. We also carry out modifications to existing tooling as well as offering a breakdown service when a quick response is required.
